Distributed by Pool Bike of Monte Carlo, Aqua-Bike provides a low impact, high resistance way of helping you to slim down, firm up and increase the health of your heart and lungs without straining yourself.

There are two models to choose from, both of which can also be used on land if the water is just a little too cold.

The Lyto has been created for use in pools with sloping bottoms and has five ‘feet’ which swivel to adapt to the incline.

The Dolphin is lower than the Lyto and – with a flat base in place of the feet on the latter – is claimed to be even more stable. It also features a special 4-function waterproof meter to allow you to track the progress of your exercise.

Both of them use the same patented resistance system developed by Pool Bike.

To ensure that it will stand up to the rigours of spending much of its life underwater, the frame on an Aqua-Bike is built of nylon and the handlebar, pedals and gears are made from special grade stainless steel, marine rubber, nylon and fibreglass.

Also, part of the development process on the new launch included a one-year test in hot sea water at a Thalassotherapy spa in Monaco.
